      Such practice of early cultivation of top innovative talents in junior middle schools calls for a breakthrough in the fundamental concepts and overall planning of curriculum construction. This involves embedding personalized knowledge founda? tions with “national curriculum + courses with school-based features in mathematics and science” at the stage of junior middle schools. The reform of teaching methods based on tailored education should improve the study and inquiry of the students with de? velopment potential in these areas， and foster a school culture that encourages “their excellence” in multiple fields. Emphasis is placed on gathering experts’ wisdom for the seamless transition between junior high schools， senior high schools and colleges， and also on a comprehensive quality evaluation that balances the enhancement of students’ ideological levels and the development of their potential.
