      In the new era，the development of modern basic education must take "high quality" as the new historical orienta? tion. With a firm focus on the fundamental task of "moral education"，the key to this high-quality development of basic education aims to encourage students to consciously associate themselves with socialism with Chinese characteristics and the trend of social and historical development when they freely pursue their overall development. Moreover，centering around "moral education"，in? tegrating educational management，educational subjects and student groups，seeking truth from facts and analyzing specific prob? lems are the key points to achieve this high-quality development. Specifically，more attention should be paid to the implementa? tion of the strategy of education-first development，the promotion of the socialization of educational responsibility，and the trans? formation to and innovation of a student-centered teaching practice model.
