Based on the so-called “lesson types” and their misunderstanding in music classes in primary and secondary schools and following the characteristics of the practice areas of music curriculum, the paper proposes three core activities in music discipline, namely, “experiential”, “expressive” and “creative” activities and explores the nature, characteristics and implementation of music learning from the essence of aesthetic practice. It aims to provide a conceptual and action-oriented guidance to enhance the quality of music lessons in primary and secondary schools, and emphasize the practical exploration of improving the research direction of teaching in the classroom. |
