In teaching English reading, teachers should be good at using questioning tools to stimulate students’ thinking and improve the classroom environment in order to achieve in-depth teaching effect. There are different strategies for the use of the questioning tool. Based on the analysis of text content, teachers can trigger students’ deep thinking by means of the use of questioning. After students meet the learning bottleneck, teachers can create hypotheses by asking questions, which can induce the development of their language ability, thus cultivating the key competence of the subject. |
