将英语单词APP中丰富的学习内容、灵活的学习方式应用于学校的英语教学,促进学生英语词汇水平的提高是一个值得研究的问题。本研究以某中学初一的两个平行班为实验班和对照班,在实验班中使用单词APP学习英语单词,在对照班中使用传统读写方式学习英语单词,然后评估两种学习条件下学生接受/产出性词汇能力的变化。实验结果表明,与传统教学方式相比,单词APP对学生的接受性词汇有更显著的促进作用,而对学生的产出性词汇的促进作用并不显著。同时,对实验组学生的访谈显示,APP的应用促进了学生的学习兴趣,对教师开展有针对性的指导也有一定帮助。 |

This paper has made research into the effect of vocabulary learning APP to see whether the rich learning contents and flexible learning methods from the APP can be applied to English teaching in schools, thus improving students’ English vocabulary level. This study has taken two parallel classes from Grade Seven in a junior middle school as the experimental class and the control class. The students from the experimental class learned the English vocabulary through APP while the students from the control class still used traditional method to learn the vocabulary. Then the ability was evaluated to receive and produce vocabulary under these two different learning conditions. The results of the research show that compared with traditional teaching method, learning vocabulary through APP achieved significant difference in receptive vocabulary acquisition while there was no significance between the two learning conditions in productive vocabulary. Meanwhile, the interview of some students from the experimental group also shows that the application of APP can enhance students’ interest in vocabulary acquisition and is conducive to targeted guidance for teachers. |
