The implementation of the new curriculum standards and the improvement of the teaching concerning the thought and politics lesson in high school should be based on the current teaching practice. Through the sample survey conducted among part of the high school students in Shanghai, it is found that the vast majority of students hold positive attitudes to the current thought and politics lesson teaching, however, there are still some problems existed in the process of teaching the course, such as the content of the course is too theoretical, the classroom interaction form is monotonous, the way of learning is still in the level of passive acceptance, the “demand” and “supply” of the practice are not balanced, the curriculum evaluation method is single. According to relevant requirement of the new curriculum standards, in order to improve the teaching concerning the thought and politics lesson in senior high school, the school should make efforts to optimize the content of the textbooks and return to the world of students life, pay attention to the activity experience and try to build the curriculum of activity-oriented subject. Meanwhile, it should strengthen the guidance of study methods and promote students to change their ways of learning; and focus on the process evaluation and explore the establishment of the developmental evaluation mechanism. |
