      With the development of English reading teaching in primary schools, teachers constantly study effective reading teaching strategies in their teaching practice. As an effective teaching strategy, thinking map has already been well-known. This paper has conducted the theoretical research and case analysis of whether thinking map can be adopted in English reading teaching in primary schools, whether it is beneficial to exercise students’ reading ability, how to cultivate reading habits, and how to improve reading skills.
