      There are many ways to teach English reading. The picture walk is one of them. The biggest advantage of this reading teaching method is that teachers can integrate reading literacy into the reading process through the design of language activities, the guidance of problems, and the guidance of reading methods. When adopting the method of picture walk to teach English reading in primary schools, we must treat the construction of meaning based on the students' understanding of the stories as the main teaching goal, and at the same time develop students' cognition and promote language learning interest.
