Mathematical understanding is an important research content in mathematics education. When pupils from lower grades start to formally learn mathematics, it is the starting stage of mathematics learning so that the understanding of teaching and learning is very important. Mechanical learning should be avoided, and it is important to improve pupils’ learning efficiency, and indirectly reduce unnecessary strengthening exercises. Reaching a certain level of mathematical understanding is the basic requirement of mathematics learning. According to the research results and the knowledge forms in pupils’ learning process, their understanding in mathematics learning can be divided into two parts, the procedural understanding and the conceptual understanding. Based on this theory, it is of significance to carry out the practice and exploration in primary school mathematics teaching. |
