The paper explores the objective, significance and features of musical aesthetics of “system is history” from the perspective of Dahlhaus under the background of modern western philosophy aesthetics. The paper holds that the musical aesthetics builds the system of musical aesthetics on the foundation of history rather than discarding the system. The objective is to fill in the gap between the system and history so that they can penetrate, accept, support and depend on each other. |
