      唯物史观是马克思主义哲学界和历史学界共同关注的研究对象，前者主要是从经典作家的论述中抽象概括出唯物史观的基本原理，后者主要是运用这些基本原理来解释历史事实。但由于多种历史因素的影响，我们对唯物史观基本概念和原理的界定存在某些偏颇，亟须纠正。从社会形态、生产力决定生产关系、存在决定意识三个方面考察马克思主义哲学界对唯物史观基本概念和基本原理的界定同史学界运用这些界定考察历史和现实进程所产生的抵牾，由此提出，史学界应同马克思主义哲学界合作，在对经典作家的论述进行更深入和系统解读的基础上，结合历史与现实的经验事实，重新建构唯物史观的解释体系，以提高唯物史观的解释力。

英文摘要:

      Historical materialism is the common research object of Marxist philosophy and history scholars. The former mainly summarizes the basic principles of historical materialism from the exposition of classic writers, while the latter mainly uses these basic principles to explain historical facts. However, due to the influence of various historical factors, our definition of the basic concepts and principles of historical materialism is somewhat biased and needs to be corrected. From the three aspects of social form, productive forces determining relations of production and existence determining consciousness, we should study the contradiction between the definition of the basic concepts and principles of historical materialism in Marxist philosophy and the historians’ application of these definitions to study history and reality. Therefore, it is suggested that to improve the interpretation power of historical materialism, historians should cooperate with Marxist philosophers to reconstruct the interpretation system on the basis of more thorough and systematical interpretation in combination with historical and practical experience.
