Saussure regarded language as a system of symbolic structures, with sound images called signifiers and concepts called signified. Teaching language has the general nature, function and characteristics of language. Therefore, to explore the problems of teaching language from the perspective of signifier and signified is a real attempt to explore the improvement strategies of teaching language at the level of internal causes and root causes. Based on the relationship of arbitrariness, regulation and dependence between signifier and signified, the enlightenment, popularity and integrity of teaching language should be improved accordingly. |
